Back to school means back to classes at THE STAMP
ADDICT!

New Class Added!
We have added a new class on Saturday, September 28, from 2 PM to 4 PM. It is "Triangle
Games" with Lisa Bebi. We will be using the Magenta pre-cut triangles and Magenta stamps to make
beautiful geometric and quilted designs. We also have some pictures of sample boards for a few of the classes.

Magenta Party Favors
With Lisa Bebi: Sunday, September 1, 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM. They say it's a
Party!!! Well in this class, that's what you'll do! Come & learn to make festive coordinating cards,
boxes, garlands, favors & other party cuties the Magenta way. Lisa will use direct-to-paper techniques
& corresponding colors to help you celebrate from Thanksgiving to New Years! Influence your friends by
hosting in the Art of Living: Magenta Style! Cost $15.00
International Housemice of Mystery with Julia Quinsey:
Wednesday, September 11, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM (WAS Wednesday, September 4, 11:00 AM - 1:00
PM) and Saturday, September 7, 10:00 AM - Noon. Yeah Baby! The mice are having a smashing good
time. They'll sleuth their way into whatever they can! If they would just BEHAVE! Join with Julia & the
furry ones as they do a little traveling & a whole lot of partying! Danger is their middle names! Cost

The Beauty Of Opalescent Colors With Lisa:
Wednesday, September 4, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. You've seen cards that shimmer & shine; you've
probably thought that yours wouldn't look that cool & neat. Well, guess what? This class features 6
Beautiful cards that shimmer! You'll be using a variety of methods to achieve glorious cards that will produce
head-turning results!!! Since Lisa loves shiny things, you may need your shades! Cost $15.00
Kaleidoscope Windows With Lisa:
Saturday, September 7, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. This is a new technique that Lisa discovered while perusing the
Australian stamping world. In this simple treatment of paper, you'll mimic a favorite of quilters: the
kaleidoscope quilt! Each meshing of paper & color yields a different result, each utterly beautiful!
You'll use both Japanese papers & your own stamped-image papers. Cost $15.00
Sunday Travelers #1 With Lisa:
California, Arizona, New Mexico: Sunday, September 8, 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM. This is
first day of your tour of America! Lisa is cleaning out the Winnebago & packing it up for the long haul!
During each of the classes, you'll make memorabilia-type cards depicting the route you're on, the sights &
scenes of the area you get to visit! You'll get a "foot-locker" sticker for a souvenir & a
special gift when you get back home if you take the whole tour! (To make it all more special: Lisa requested
that if anyone has any 60's era pictures from your own albums, could she borrow them to make copies? Drop them
at the store & they will be returned, unharmed to you! Thanks!) Cost $15.00
Monday Morning With Mike Strong:
Monday, September 9, 9:30 AM - Noon and Monday, September 23, 9:30 AM - Noon. Button, Button, Who's Got
the Button?: You do, of course! Dare we say that Mike's cards are as cute as a button? Yes, because they are.
You'll make 5 different cards that are cleverly decorated with a variety of buttons. Don't forget to come
early for breakfast. Cost $15.00

Dolores" in September, marking the beginning of the revolt against Spain. Come to The Stamp Addict &
celebrate the beauty of & spirit of Mexico by making 6 colorful & expressive cards with Mike. Cost

Deco Dreams 3 With Mike: Saturday, September 14, 10:00 AM - Noon. You are invited to explore the
endlessly inventive possibilities of Art Deco in this third installment of Mike's popular theme class.
Attendance in previous classes is not required. In this class, you'll make a whole new batch of stylish cards.

Something for Everyone with Lois Cosner:
Saturday, September 14, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Ever wonder what to make for those different occasions,
the occasions that you don't do very often, but do come up? In this class, Lois will guide you through a
variety of cards for every occasion in life: from birth to sympathy. You'll also get to "taste" some
of Art Impressions' new line of stamps: Timeless Classics, great designs in "brush-stroke" style. Cost

Sunday Travelers #2 With Lisa: Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi: Sunday, September 15, 1:30 PM
- 3:30 PM. Well, the tank's been refilled & the map consulted & you're going along quite
well. Travel through the oil fields, wide open spaces & maybe take in a football game in the Lone Star
state. You'll go through Cajun country & jazz, & cross the mighty Mississippi & maybe find a
riverboat in the next part of your journey! Cost $15.00
9-Fold Greeting Cards with Mike:
NEW Session: Wednesday, September 18, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM -
8:30 PM. Once again, Mike has devised a new creation in card-making. All he's telling is that they
are fun, easy & innovative & you'll make 5 of them. These cards will be featured on a 2003 season
episode of Carol Duvall, but you won't have to wait for the airing, you'll learn it here at The Stamp Addict
first! Please bring an 18" ruler if you have one. Cost $15.00

Artful Reflections With Hilari Ford:
Unfortunately, Hilari is unable to teach this class as scheduled and it has been
cancelled. We will attempt to re-schedule it soon. Our apologies for any inconvenience. Fall is
often a time of reflection, so why not take advantage of the season to create a one-of-a-kind mirror. Hilari
will have you using pigment powders, paints, & other embellishments to make your reflection shine!!!!
Mirror, mirror on the wall who's the fairest of them all???? You are! (Wear clothes you won't mind getting
inky).
Sunday Travelers #3 With Lisa: Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina: Sunday, September 29, 1:30
PM - 3:30 PM. You left Mississippi & now you are off to Alabama the heart of the South, then off to
peach country & then to the plantations of the Carolinas. You're in the Deep South now, the land of the
Civil War, chivalry & real ladies. Although with Lisa around, you never know whether or not the Civil War
ended, chivalry is dead or what is really meant by Southern Belles!!! Cost $15.00

colored pencils & a pair of scissors to class, if you have them.

Stamp Clubs: Are for truly addicted
stampers; some clubs are filled so check with the store.
