Glorious Jewelry Making with Lisa: Saturday, December 7, 10:00 AM - Noon. Create a gorgeous pair of earrings & a matching brooch out of metal disks, embossing powder & stamps! Let Lisa show you how to formulate embossing colors that "work" together with the right stamps! This technique can also be used for making buttons, book closures, hair clips, & other eye-catching embellishments. See the Sample here! Painting with Powders & Cheryl Outhier: Saturday, December 7, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. You'll have a good time making some simple, yet beautiful cards with Pearl-Ex & Perfect Pearls. Bloomers! with Edna Morton: Sunday, December 8, 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM. You've been asking for this class & now you'll have it! And taught by the owner of Coronado Island Stamping, Edna Morton. You'll fine-tune techniques to make simple swirl stamps into beautiful flowers using all the decorative scissors in your drawers. Edna will also help solve any basic problems you may have with a glue gun. You'll get to make as many flowers as you can & then turn them into a bouquet! Pretty & Primitive: the Amish Way with Lisa: Wednesday, December 18, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. Learn how to capture bold, simple colors like those found in Amish quilts. Simple does not necessarily mean easy, although with Lisa's help it won't mean really hard! It takes some understanding of colors to know what "works together". Lisa Does Fred Mullett: Saturday, December 28, 10:00 AM - Noon. OK! Get real people! What were you thinking? Lisa is doing a whole class on Fred Mullett stamps! You'll learn to do Fred Mullett-style stamping employing his "diffused watercolor effects" techniques in this fun-filled class. The resultant artwork is so lovely, you'll want to frame it. If you're unfamiliar with Fred's work, he has a wonderful collection of nature stamps (mostly fish rubbings) that are both simple & elegant. Don't miss a chance to "catch" a Fred Mullett creation! Serendipity Stars with Laurie Gore: Sunday, December 29, 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM. The Stamp Addict welcomes a new teacher to our
group & has she got ideas! Serendipity squares is a new technique among rubber stamp artists that in this class, you'll be giving a decidedly Jewish twist to. Emphasizing basic skills & simple tools, you'll do several variations to fit any occasion. Beginning stampers are welcomed! Kosher snacks will be provided for all.
