"Addict"! All-day partying & carrying on, (like this is new?).
Join us for birthday cake, munchies & beverages as The Stamp Addict
celebrates it's 5th birthday with FREE demos & make-it-and-take-its led by
friends from The Stamp Addict! This year we also are proud to again have Sandra
Jordan, who will have her art work on display and for sale. She will also
autograph any purchased stamps of her art work. And now that we have taken over
suite L, Ancel (of Ancel's Uniforms) doesn't have space for her "demo"
scrubs, jackets, shirts, etc. & she'll be selling those unused items! We'll
have drawings all day long for great gifts from many of the great companies that
keep this store in stock!
YOU REALLY DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS DAY!!!!!
9:30--11:30 AM: Mike Strong:
9 Fold Greeting Cards*
Mike has been a friend of The Addict since we opened and was the one of the
first teachers at the store. Mike always has great ideas to share, as you've
seen on Carol Duval show. Make a "little hello" card that's little on
the outside and BIG on the inside! How can that be? -- find out with Mike as you
make one of your own and solve the mystery.
10:30--12:30 PM: Julia Quinsey:
Eyelets 'n' Tags*
Julia is another long-time friend of The Addict, one that is clever with her
whimsical & different ideas. In this fun playtime, Julia will allow you to
take out your frustrations by hammering away at two of the hottest crazes going:
eyelets & tags. If you weren't sure what to do with those small metal circle
things, here's your chance to play.
12:00--1:00 PM: Grace Hampton:
Bloomers & Leaves*
You all know Grace, the sales associate, now meet Grace, the Bloomer Princess!
She has learned from Edna Morton (Bloomer Queen & inventor) the tricks of
these beautiful flowers & their companion leaves. She demos frequently at
the store for customers, now here's your chance to learn for yourself how to
make these great little flowers!
1:30--3:30 PM: Hilari Ford:
Hanko Purses & Gift Bags*
If you read "Expression" magazine, then you know Hilari is one of the
editors, with her own monthly column "Tools and Temptations". We are
very fortunate to also have her as a teacher here at The Stamp Addict. She has
learned another cute little thing to make! Using a versatile template from Hanko
Designs Stamp Company, combined with stamps & fancy paper, she will show you
how to make charming, yet diminutive gift bags for anything from party favors to
jewelry, or just embellishments for cards & scrapbooks, in the Hilari style.
2:00--3:00 PM: Grace Hampton:
Rosey Poseys*
Part 2 of the Bloomer story is the new Rosey Posey stamp. The Bloomers are the
mums, peonies & daisies of the collection, now you get to make the Rose of
the collection. After learning how to make one from Grace, you'll be able to go
home and make a complete bouquet!
3:00--5:00 PM: Kathy Olsen:
Melting Pot Jewelry*
Kathy is one of the newer teachers here at The Stamp Addict she has great,
quick, fun ideas. Join with Kathy as she de-mystifies the Melting Pot &
Ultra Thick Embossing Powders. You'll walk away with a small UTEE pin of your
own making, the start of your new stamping career.
3:30--5:00 PM: Lisa Bebi:
Got Milk?*
Lisa has been off for a while & promises to feel well enough to give you a
new perspective to stamping: using milk as both a background & the main
"ink". This is a fairly new technique, but the results are beautiful.
Stop by & welcome Lisa back to The Stamp Addict.

customers can participate in each event.
