Treasured Cigar
Boxes with Lisa Bebi: Wednesday, April 2, 6:30 PM -
8:30 PM. This fun treasure chest is a combination of cigar box, collage
& personal treasures. With Lisa's leadership you'll create a fantastic box
to hold art clippings, unfinished projects, trinkets, memories, whatever!
Decorate & antique boxes using old stamp projects, new stamped projects,
inks, & paints & then seal it to keep with satin gel. Don't fret if you
don't know a smoker --- we're providing the boxes. Cost $15.00 + $3.00 for

Into The Shadows with
Cheryl Outhier:
Saturday, April 5, 10:00 AM - Noon. Come out of the
light & into the realm of "shadow stamping" with Cheryl. You'll be
having a great time using dye pads, as well as pigment pads using these solid
stamps. You'll create some fun & beautiful cards with embossing, eyelets,
& other techniques. Come join us for a morning of fun & easy cards! See

Lisa: Saturday, April 5, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Subtle
plum blossoms, flying, standing cranes, leaping bunnies. Hanko Stamps &
Paper Company highlight this beautiful Asian-themed class. Lisa will awe you
with her talents & wow you with Washi papers & papers in pastels, golds,
& prints. And as the name implies you'll make & take home 6 wonderful

Eraser Carving
101 with Laurie Gore: Sunday, April 6, 1:30 PM -
3:30 PM. Carving your own stamps is so much easier - & more fun -
than you think! Just try it once & a world of possibilities will open up. In
this class, Laurie will lead you as you carve into 2 Staedler Master Carve
blocks: enough for making 3 or 4 stamps. We will have carving tools to share,

with Mike Strong: Caribbean Spice: Monday, April 7,
9:30 AM - Noon and Monday, April 14, 9:30 AM - Noon. Spice up your
day with a trip to the islands, mon! Tropical breezes will be blowing as you
enjoy making 6 cards inspired by the hot & cool colors of Jamaica, the
Afro/Cuban rhythms of a Celia Cruz song & the beauty of a Bahamas sunset.

card making or to wear around your neck! It's all in the blending of the colors!

Early Roman
Period (Toybox Style) with Lisa: Sunday, April 13,
1:30 PM - 3:30 PM. Long ago, in the times when Rome ruled the known
world, Toybox stamps made some great rubber images. OK, so the history may be
skewed some, but Toybox Rubber Stamps does have a great collection Roman images
that Lisa has figured out how to make look ancient & vintage. Join with her
as you travel back in time & relearn the tips of the masters, complete with
stippling & perhaps some Armour-All?!. See a

Since we were unable to take all of those that signed up last month, MaryJo has
graciously agreed to return to do the same 2 classes. In fairness to all, the
classes are being offered to those from the previous waiting lists first.

featured instructor at stamp conventions, retreats, cruises & stores. Her
credentials stretch over 15 years. A Southern Californian, MaryJo has been seen
on many episodes of HGTV's Carol Duvall Show creating decorative boxes, tins,
book covers, jewelry & cards, of course! MaryJo asks you to bring:
scissors, X-acto, cutting mat, c-thru ruler, note pad, pencil. Please note

Faux Finishes for Paper
Fanatics: Wednesday, April 16, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. In
this class you'll have a "hands on" 3-hour feast for paper freaks
on antiquing, texturizing & resurfacing all types of existing paper. This
course also includes MaryJo's new recipe for Sculpture Paper. Create
incredible papers from household tissue, napkins & paper towels using
dyes, acrylic paints and more. PLEASE BRING A HAIR DRYER IF YOU HAVE ONE.

Altered Books: Wednesday,
April 16, 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM. Old books can be transformed into
one-of-a kind artwork, complete with pockets, cut-outs & full of fun in
this second 3-hour workshop. Creative pockets of vellum & specialty
papers along with pop-ups will enliven any old book quickly with a few simple
techniques. YOU MUST BRING AN OLD BOOK. MaryJo will have a wealth of
paints, mediums, color copies & other vintage goodies.

Trading Pages
with Hilari Ford: Saturday, April 26, 2:00 PM - 4:00
PM. In the first hour, we will make a single signature book that works
well as a personal journal! In the second hour, we will trade with our
classmates for decorating. At the end of the second hour the books will be
revealed & returned to their original owners!! The class will cover easy
collage techniques and embellishment in Hilari's very special way! Each student
is invited to bring his/her own papers or ephemera for decoration, but keep in

Mother &
Child with Laurie: Sunday, April 27, 1:30 PM - 3:30
PM. Children & the mothers who love them will get a mostly
sentimental treatment during this class. The designs will be divided between the
contemporary designs of Ducks in a Row & the antique photos of The Stamping
Ground. If you haven't worked with these stamps before, you will enjoy the
distinct look each company brings to your cards & the distinct accent that
