Words are a very important part of every card: they convey the spirit of the sender to the receiver. Join Cheryl to see how you can use words & phrases, not just in the traditional sense of verse, but as backgrounds for your cards. You can emboss them, stamp them or decorate them using Pearl-Ex powders as you bring them to life on your cards. You'll even make a seasonal one for that last-minute holiday card! See a sample here! Since this is the giving season, you'll be concentrating on making dominos suitable for jewelry that you could give as a gift (if you can part with them!) All Dominos will be pre-drilled for your earring & necklace making pleasure. This is another in Laurie's workshop series where "doing your own thing" is greatly encouraged, using new stamps, paints, & wide spectrum of inks. Feel free to bring along your own stamp that you think might be perfect for your project.
