One Page Books with Ginny: Saturday, July 3, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. These are fun little books that literally use just one piece of paper to make. Join Ginny as you have fun stamping & playing & folding your talents away & getting to use craft irons & Distress inks in this project designed by Tim Holtz. As you continue to work toward mastery of your colored pencil renderings of glass & condensation under Rena’s fine talents, you’ll be inspired by actual condensation on the glasses in front of you! Mix It Up! Chalk & Pencil: “Portraits of Beauty” with Rena: Tuesday, July 13, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. In this class, you’ll practice the important (& hard to do, but not for long) techniques of shading, highlighting & adding subtle color gradations for a fabulous, “hand-tinted photo” effect on vintage images. The Domino Effect with Laurie Gore: Wednesday, July 14, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. The new fashion & crafting craze of dominos that is so fun & so popular comes together in this great class using the Art Impressions stamp line: Condensed Classics. This line consists of tiny versions of their immensely popular Timeless Classics line. Happily for us, many fit perfectly on dominos. Playing with Pads & Cheryl Outhier: Saturday, July 17, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. There’s a whole bunch of new inks out there right now, & Cheryl bets you don’t really know how cool they really are! Join her in this class that will look at different ways to use them to create some great cards & looks. You’ll get into Opalites, VersaMagic, & de-tress yourselves with Distress Inks. A Special Event Scheduled For Wednesday July 21st: Classes from Kelly Kilmer!
The Stamp Addict is once again proud to present a special guest teacher: Kelly Kilmer! (& we get her for 2 classes in 1 day!) A friend of MaryJo McGraw (& she’s still coming here!) she will be leading us in altering books & our minds in these special events! Kelly is a mixed media artist & instructor who lives in Southern California & believes that there is an artist in each & every one of us. Kelly’s classes are designed specifically to bring that artist out. She is an extremely published artist appearing in “Signatures”, Somerset Studio, Artist’s Sketchbook, The Studio, Dogeared magazine, Artitude & The Muse. She believes that art should be accessible to everyone; everyone is an artist. Everyone has a talent & a style that no one else has. You just need to find it. She is also one of the founding members of “Sound Off Through Art”, a group of dedicated artists committed to changing the world for the better in a non-violent, peaceful manner through the combination of art and words. Altered Artists’ Journals Part 1: 10:00 AM TO 1:00 PM. In this class you’ll recycle a hardbound book, thus creating an entirely new artists journal! A detailed, 20 page creativity book is included in this class. This is Kelly’s most popular & her favorite to teach! Eyelets Galore & More with Julia: Saturday, July 24, 10:00 AM - Noon. Rat-a-at-tat the morning away! Embellish cards & tags with a beautiful variety of eyelet colors & shapes. Follow Julia’s lead & try a couple of the whimsical new Wildcard templates from Wordsworth. Put together a dancing doll with movable arms & legs. Mahvelous Markers with Rena: Saturday, July 24, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Once again the mystery of the marker is going to be dissolved & un-mystified as you add some whimsy to your marker skills. The Jeweled Box with Laurie: Sunday, July 25, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Start with a modest paper-maché box, add a few stamped images, pre-printed papers, inks, paints, embellishments. Then mix them together under Laurie’s guidance & you’ll have a special, beautiful treasure box to keep all of your favorite gems! From plain to fabulous in just one class! Mix It Up! Chalk & Pencil: “Once Upon A Time” with Rena: Tuesday, July 27, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. You‘ve seen it & you wanted to do it: Magenta’s “Knight in Shining Armor”. You’ll capture the depth between our foreground & the distant mountains & continue working on textures with shiny metal & wrinkles in fabric. You’ll leave with an exquisite card you won’t want to give away! Cost $18.00*

Summertime Ribbons & Rubber with Mike: Wednesday, July 28, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. Here’s a variation on Mike’s Holiday Ribbons & Rubber classes. Words with Kathy Olsen: Saturday, July 31, 10:00 AM - Noon. Here’s a new, creative approach to card & stamp art. Rather than the images being the focal point, in this innovative class from Kathy, the words will be the highlight. You’ll design your cards around the words. The Gin Game with Hilari Ford: Saturday, July 31, 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM. In this class you’ll be making a bracelet & transferring it onto polymer clay. This is guaranteed to be a one of a kind item, as a lot of Hilari’s class works are & you won’t want to stop your creativity at one! Come & play in THIS 3 HOUR CLASS. Stamp Clubs: Are for truly addicted stampers; some clubs are full, so check with the store if you are interested in joining a club. We are forming a new club from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon on the second Thursday of each month. New, intermediate & advanced stampers are welcome. Please call or stop by the store for details & to register to attend the first meeting!!!!!!
