A Day With Kelly Kilmer: Wednesday, November 3. All new & all different in another special day with Kelly. • 10:30 to 12:30: Multiple Layers: Want to be pushed with your art journal even more??!?? Come to this class & you'll learn even MORE new tips & tricks for working in your art journal. Explore new possibilities with paints, artist's crayons, pigments & more. Learn techniques not discussed in any other classes! These techniques are applicable to a variety of surfaces: art journals, altered books, canvases & MORE! Push your supplies to the next level. Detailed handout with multiple techniques included.
• 1:30 to 3:30: Journey Beyond The Surface: Think you know everything about what your can do in your art journals, altered books, canvases, etc. with acrylic paints, & mediums? This is a fresh perspective on using a variety of mediums. Learn to think outside the box & push yourself while creating. Learn even MORE, NEW techniques, tips, tricks & ideas for working on art projects. Make pages sing with color & texture using acrylics, gels, mediums, & other products. This is a new class in a series of mixed media that Kelly has been developing over the years. Detailed handouts will be included!!!!

Get Wet! With Rena Tucker: Thursday, November 4, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Fall leaves using Fred Mullet's authentic leaf impressions & watercolor pencils! You'll want to use these gorgeous leaves on cards, gifts, wreaths & more!! They (both the stamps & the pencils) are addictive, but it's ok - you're under Dr. Rena's care! PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATERCOLOR PENCILS IF YOU HAVE THEM. Cost $18.00

Savvy Make-it-&-Take-It: Saturday, November 6, 10:00 AM - Noon. A cute little penguin, a tag & lots of glitter. A cute, fast holiday card to make & send. If you came last month, you'll want to come this month! You didn't??? Well, this is too much fun to miss twice! See a sample here!  Cost $5.00

A Little Something Extra with Hilari Ford: Saturday, November 6, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. NOW! Rescheduled for Thursday, Nov 11, 5 PM - 7 PM. It's a card! It's a gift! It's the super thing to do, as only Hilari can!!!! You'll learn how to make these elegant greetings with "a little something extra" attached. Holiday Ribbons & Rubber 2004 with Mike Strong: Wednesday, November 10, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. For the 3rd year in a row, Mike offers his holiday card class using beautiful ribbons & coordinating rubber stamps. The black & white theme is back & gets a practical application in this birthday card class. Mike will help you make 6 cards from funny to funky to fabulous & of course, dramatically black & white! The Art Lounge with Wild Women & Rena: Saturday, November 13, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Due to the holiday season approaching, the nights are few, but the Saturdays are open for business! Take a break from the hectic holiday season with those groovy Emerson girls & some of their friends as they hit the Art Lounge. Bring colored pencils & a sense of humor! (Yes, Rena will be serving; the rumor is: Mimosas). Cost $18.00

Mini Cards & Tags with Kathy Olsen: Sunday, November 14, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Come make a variety of mini tags & cards for birthdays, holidays, or just because occasions! You'll have lots of fun with Kathy's creative talent & her always used & loved technique: embellishments! See a sample here!  Cost $18.00

Millefiori (Picture Canes) With Syndee Holt: Wednesday, November 17, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. Explore the polymer adaptation of the classic Italian glass technique: Millefiori (or thousand flowers). Syndee will teach the four basic geometric canes that comprise most of the more complex & geometric canes, & you'll be hooked by clay forever! You'll need at least three 2oz. blocks of Premo! (1 light, 1 mid-tone, 1 dark color i.e.: black, white, ecru; purple, turquoise, white; orange, yellow, green) THIS CAN BE ORDERED FOR YOU IF YOU LET THE STORE KNOW YOUR COLOR SELECTION & BY NOV. 4th. Holiday Card Extravaganza!! With Rena: Thursday, November 18, 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM. No time to make holiday cards? Here's your big chance to do what you've been saying all year: Make ALL your own cards! Rena will lead you in some really great & festive cards so, bring: your address list, postage stamps, pencils, markers, chalk, ephemera, & motivation. You'll leave with at least 1 dozen cards. The special supplies fees cover the extra amount of cardstock & envelopes. This SIX (6) hour class with all the "fixings" is just $28.00!

Symmetry/ Asymmetry with Mike: Saturday, November 20, 10:00 AM - Noon and Monday, November 22, 9:30 AM - Noon. Do you like order & precision or things just off center? If you want to appreciate both ways when it comes to design, then this is just the class for you! In this class with Mike, you'll make 6 cards using 3 stamps: 3 cards, the picture of symmetrical beauty, and 3 with disarming asymmetry. Of course, all will be just right! Snowman Studio Workshop with Ginny: Saturday, November 20, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. What's better for the holiday season than a Snowman? You're right! A Hero Arts Snowman!!!!! In this special class from Hero Arts, you'll get to make four special cards using their new Sketch Snowman stamp. We'll play with embellishments to make Mr. Frosty have more fun than ever! Origami with Kathy: Saturday, November 27, 10:00 AM - Noon. Let's learn some basic origami paper folding! You've asked and Kathy is granting the requests. You'll make a crane, hapi coat, & other cute items to incorporate into your stamping. Special treat: Stephanie, Kathy's daughter (with small hands) is coming to help! See a sample here!  Cost $18.00

Mahvelous Markers: Saturday, November 27, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. A Penny Black Christmas with Rena: Adorable animals, foliage, ornaments… yep, Christmas is coming. In addition to the main images, you'll be working on clever backgrounds to give your holiday cards some extra pizzazz! (Don't forget your pencils, you'll be using them as well). PLEASE BRING YOUR WATER BASED MARKERS. Cost $18.00

Holiday Gift Boxes with Laurie Gore: Sunday, November 28, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Escape the madness of the Thanksgiving weekend shopping (and leftovers) and make a gift box that is worthy of the gift it contains. Laurie will show you how to make 2 different boxes that you can decorate and size to exactly fit the gift you'll be presenting to your loved one(s) this holiday season!! Cost $18.00

Stamp Clubs: Are for truly addicted stampers! Some clubs are filled, but some are just waiting for you to come & join them, so check with the store. We have formed a new club from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon on the second Thursday of each month. New, intermediate & advanced stampers are welcome. Please call or stop by the store for details
