Tea Bag Folding 101-C with Cathleen Smith: Wednesday, August 10, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Cathleen has been experimenting with a few different tea folds & will be combining them with favorites from her previous classes. This is becoming a very popular topic around The Stamp Addict & Cathleen has quite a gift for not only folding but teaching as well. You don't want miss this great time. Cost $18.00* Caned Flowers with syndee holt: Wednesday, August 10, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. In this great summer fun class, you'll bring a nursery of flowers into your artistic life. You'll learn to make simple caned flowers to add to cards, frames, make into beads, highlight altered art. All this with Sculpey clays! If you are one of the many that says they haven't tried clay yet: make August your month to start & there's no better to start with than syndee! See an example here! 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. When is a bouquet less than the sum of its parts? When the stamp stands alone &
the beauty of the & uniqueness of each blossom is revealed. The flower images used in the class are from
the Hero Arts "Real Flowers" collection. As before these popular classes fill fast! THIS CLASS

supplies)* >>> Asian Art Cards with Kathy Olsen: Saturday, August 13, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Here's a theme that stands the test of time & fads. Asian cards are so beautiful, so calming. There are a lot of companies that have new Asian images & leave it to Kathy to find them & use them in one of her favorite classes. Meet the new designs from Hanko, Judi-Kins, & others as well as some old favorites. See an example here! Cost $18.00* TAMMIE MOORE: Vintage Mélange Fabric Book: Saturday, August 20, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. The Stamp Addict welcomes Kelly Kilmer's friend Tammie Moore to our store to lead you in a 4 hour class that will have you completing an entire book! If you are like most others, you like all things vintage, & new, in fabrics. Tammie has been hoarding fabrics & found a use for them in this class that makes a fabulous book & uses embellishment that are on the market now. Each student is provided with all materials & supplies to complete the book in the time frame of the class. This is a really fun & easy project. Tammie will show you how to use those impulsive creative drives of yours to finish your work. Every page will be covered with fabric, ribbon, collage images & embellishments. It can be done without stitching, but a sewing machine can also be used (some will be provided in the class or you may bring your own.) PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SCISSORS, AWL, CORK BACKED METAL RULER, PEN, & ANY SPECIAL MEMENTOS (I.E.: COLLAGE IMAGES (some will be available at the class), EMBELLISHMENTS, STAMPS. See some samples here! Going to the Polynesian Islands may not be a reality for you but you can bring the Islands home in this great clay class! Join with syndee as you learn to combine embossing powders, acrylics & Sculpey to make a faux stone tiki guy! He's a great asset to describe the summer vacation you may or may not have had & just menacing & realistic enough to keep any one from asking!!!! The images range from funky to fun to collage to serious. Join with Kathy as she explores & goes into the "creative block" in another fun & mixed media class. See an example here! Cost $18.00* Domino Designs with Diane Chen: Saturday, August 27, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Your persistence has paid off! The maker of those great domino magnets you see on the way into the classroom at The Stamp Addict has finally said yes to coming in to teach. Diane has many talents & this is one of the greats. Join with us as you learn which of the inks, techniques & designs work the best on these great toys that have joined the stamping world. She'll lead you into yet another way to share your artistic talents. See an example here! Cost $20.00 ($18.00 + $2.00 for special supplies)* Southwest Pottery with syndee: Wednesday, August 31, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. You know those great Southwest stamps that you have in your cupboards that you aren't quite sure what to do with? This is another venue for those stamps & your art work. Join with syndee as you use those stamps to create a look of southwest pottery using Sculpey clays & acrylic paints. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PASTA MACHINE & CLAY BLADES IF YOU HAVE THEM AND ANY SOUTHWEST STYLE STAMPS. See an example here!
