Make-It-&-Take-It (Memory Box Company Holiday Tree Cards) with Joe Yates: Saturday, October 1, 10:00 AM - Noon. This time we promise that this will happen. Due to a delivery schedule glitch, we were unable to provide you this great make & take. This is another of THE STAMP ADDICT'S quick card sessions. During this time you'll make 2 great holiday cards that you can you as a starting point for your holiday mailings! Each card will use a pre-cut tree shape as the basis! Impressionistic Backgrounds - Hero Arts Studio Workshop with Ginny: Saturday, October 1, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and Sunday, October 9, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Sun washed autumn backgrounds & beautiful rustic wheat are ideal images for the card making! You will again be creating works of art from "Hero's" studios on the papers that you love! & of course, you always get goodies! THIS CLASS WILL BE OFFERED TWICE & LIMITED TO 9 STUDENTS PER SESSION! Harvest Time with Mike Strong: Wednesday, October 5, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. Autumn brings abundance & you'll be happily harvesting an unusual collection of seasonal cards in this class from Mike. You'll love these beautifully designed cards. Wild About Ribbons & Fibers with Kathy Olsen: Saturday, October 8, 10:00 AM - Noon. The new thing is to embellish with whatever pieces of "stuff" that you can find. Join with Kathy for this class in which you will use & have fun with ribbons & fibers. You'll tie, weave, & create ways to attach these fun embellishments to your cards, to spice them up! Classical Motifs with Mike: Saturday, October 8, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and Monday, October 10, 9:30 AM - Noon. Inspiration from some classic antique images from Stampers Anonymous is what fueled this all new card class. You, too, will be inspired by Mike's use of some innovative embossing techniques to interpret these designs in a fresh way.  Cost $18.00*>>>

Polymer Clay Leaves with syndee holt: Wednesday, October 12, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. It is autumn. Time for colors that brighten the shorter days. Time for the leaves to fall & dazzle with style in your indoor (& outdoor) decorating. Since San Diego has limited amount of the colors of the eastern autumns, join with syndee to make your own gorgeous clay leaves that can be used for jewelry, home décor or cards. Make-It-&-Take-It: Dazzling, Fun & Fancy Holiday Ornaments With Courtney Reardon: Saturday, October 15, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Using the Primary Element paint line by LuminArte Inc. Courtney will share a simple, beautiful, & playful technique that will add your personal touch on either Holiday gifts for your loved ones or for your Home Decor during the Holiday. Painted Inks with syndee: Wednesday, October 19, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. Emboss a stamp into clay & then paint it with Piñata inks to create jewel-like colors. Its way easier than it looks! You'll get a great embellishment item or jewelry piece. As always, syndee brings the clay & the start to the fun! A Way with Words with Kathy: Saturday, October 22, 10:00 AM - Noon. You have the beautiful paper, the perfect stamps & the great colors, but something is missing. Words. The expression of why you've done this card! Words don't just have to be the inside, though. Join with Kathy & learn to put word stamps, phrase stamps & individual letters together to enhance your cards. See a sample here! Cost $18.00*

Make-It-&-Take-It (Fluffles the Cat): Saturday, October 22, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Fluffles is the "new" pet at Stampendous. If you haven't seen him (or her, should you desire) think: an easier to color, simple to work with, Garfield-esque creature! You'll play with Fluffles in an autumn motif & also in a Christmas motif. In A Monochromatic Mood with Mike: Wednesday, October 26, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. Join in this fun card class that will embark on the exploration of the monochromatic color scheme. Mike has designed a suite of soothing cards using the principles of color dynamics. You'll learn about the calming qualities of the monochromatic palate as you craft some beautiful cards. Artful Journal with Kelly Kilmer: Saturday, October 29, 10:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Spend the morning assembling a book from scratch. You'll begin your art adventure today by learning how to make the funkiest book around using gorgeous, luscious papers & a neat little stitch (easy to do & fun to learn!). Afterwards, you'll begin to embellish the pages with various mixed media techniques. Kelly will dig deep into her mixed media arsenal of supplies, showing you the coolest new techniques around (along with a few favorites that she's tweaked just for this class!) Learn different ways to paint, play & express yourself artistically on the page. You'll spend hours engrossed in multiple new mixed media techniques designed to push & expand your creative prowess. This is unlike ANY class you have ever taken. Be prepared to get messy!!, learn a ton of new techniques in a variety of subject matters!!, & have a whole lot of fun!! As always, Kelly will be bringing an array of professional artist acrylics & mediums, rubber stamps, collage ephemera, & all necessary materials to create the journal. (Translation: she's bringing a TON of stuff as always!). Trick Or Treat For A Little Stamp!!!! From the 29th to the 31st, the stamp addict will continue it's tradition of Trick or Treat for a small stamp to those small, "scary", stampers under 10 years old, dressed up in their Halloween finery. (Parents: this is a treat that is safe & doesn't cause cavities or "sugar highs") Also, to make sure that all adult stampers are off the roads & home with their "kid-lets", on Halloween: Monday the 31st, we will close at 5:00 PM!

* ALL SUPPLIES ARE INCLUDED IN CLASS FEES: however, please bring colored pencils & a pair of scissors to class, if you have them. Any additional supplies needed are listed with the class description.

Stamp Clubs: We have several here at the store. They for truly addicted stampers as well as a source of ideas & help for beginners & friendship for all! There are spaces available in some & possibilities for starting others. Clubs are independently run so let us know what & where your interests are & your time availability & we can get you into the right club to suit your needs!!!!!!
