You all enjoy the humor (both the left AND right side of center) that the River City Rubber Works folks have brought to us (in the store, we do hear the laughter as you read the “word wall”). Now enjoy a class in which you make 4 cards based on the humor and fun of River City, and centered on the joy of aging. To properly toast the occasion, yes, THE ART LOUNGE will be open! This class is THE class to come to so that you can make the Christmas present you didn’t get! You’ll make a beautiful beaded watch and have tons of fun with fringe and charms. NO BEADING EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. Its fun, easy, you'll love wearing and showing off the finished product! PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN: SIZE 10 BEADING NEEDLE, TIGER TAIL, 2 CRIMP BEADS, NYMO BEADING THREAD, WATCH FACE (THE KIND WITH A SINGLE HOLE ON EACH SIDE), SIZE 6 SEED BEADS FOR STRAP (YOU MAY ALSO USE CUBE BEADS, HEX BEADS), SIZE 11 SEED BEADS, APPROX. 60 ACCENT BEADS/CHARMS/BUTTONS FOR EMBELLISHMENTS (NOT TOO BIG: REMEMBER THEY WILL BE ON THE WATCH., A TOGGLE CLASP.) PM. It’s time to ramble along Route 66 and take inspiration from the
splendor of the Southwest and the designs of the Navajo Nation. Join Mike for
this creative card-making class! Mike will even be sharing some of the
“artifacts” that he got at the Grand Canyon last November for you to use as

the Chinese New Year with this fun class from Mike. You’ll be crafting 4
distinctive cards with Chinese motifs plus a beautiful folded paper, hanging

She has perused the catalogs and has found some new images she’s picked just for this class that will entice, delight and make for gorgeous cards. See an example here! Cost $18.00* Sassy Suitcase Class with Tammie Moore: Sunday, January 22, Noon - 4:00 PM. Don't you love vintage suitcases and train cases? Well, in this class you will learn how to prep your suitcase, paint (if so desired) and collage with some fun and funky images. Tammie will have a bunch of big images for your decorating. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BASIC TOOL KIT, SCISSORS, RULER, GEL MEDIUM, BRUSH, ANY SPECIAL EMBELLISHMENTS, and SCRAPBOOK PAPER YOU HAVE. The teacher will have some of these supplies available for you - don't forget to bring your imagination! Well, he’s back and raring to go with the love stuff and to help you send out your Valentine cards. He got some silly friends that will be joining him in the soirée! (And, as if you needed to ask: THE ART LOUNGE will be open! See an example here! Cost $18.00* A Day With Kelly Kilmer: Spend the day with Kelly in 2 different classes. Both journal classes will be using a heavy card stock which is available at The Stamp Addict if you don’t already have a journal made up. See some samples here! (It’s Hip to be) Square Journal: Saturday, January 28, 10:00 AM - Noon. Kelly has a new obsession in her journal life: the square page! It’s not just for scrap booking, it’s FUN and different to work on pages this size. You’ll learn to how to assemble your own journal using square cardstock in a unique size. This size will break you out of any creative rut you may be in, and let you have a good time in the process!!! All student levels are welcome and handouts will be given. Cost $50.00* (all supplies included except as noted, see below) Bag of Tricks - Mixed Media: Saturday, January 28, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Bring your journal to this class and explore a variety of mixed media tricks that are all NEW! Kelly’s going into her bag of mixed media tips, tricks and techniques to teach you all NEW ideas never before covered! (and we hope she leaves a trail to follow out from that large bag!) Kelly is very excited about this class and you will be, too! All student levels are welcome and handouts will be given. Cost $50.00* (all supplies included except as noted, see below) As always, Kelly will be bringing an array of professional artist acrylics and mediums, rubber stamps, collage ephemera, and all necessary materials to create the journal!
