Cathleen has been "brewing" up some new ideas for tea bag folds & more practice for you. You'll be using some new Coronado Island stamps, ready-made papers & making your own squares. Tag-A-Long: Hero Arts Studio Workshop with Ginny: Wednesday, March 8, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM and Saturday, March 11, 10:00 AM - Noon. When is a tag not a tag??? When it becomes something more than the "thingy tied to a gift so that you know who it is for! In this new for 2006 Hero Arts workshop, you'll explore the versatility of tag art; from simple to elaborate the possibilities are imaginative, creative, & fun. all-time favorite theme is back! Now it's coming with a new look for the new
year! During this class, you will be combining an array of black & white images,
with a decorative element to make a collection of dramatic collage cards.

Cost $18.00*>>> Asian Paper Crafting & Stamping with Kathy Olsen: Saturday, March 18, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. There are a lot of new Asian papers & stamps in the crafting world. Kathy is the resident "Asian Paper & Stamp Art expert" here at the Stamp Addict. Combine those facets & you enjoy the best of the all things! Come join Kathy in creating some fun, new, looks for your cards that are straight from the Orient. See a Sample Here! Cost $18.00* The Wonderful World of Color: Color Theory Made Easy with Kelly Kilmer: Wednesday, March 22, 10:00 AM - 3:30 PM. In this workshop, you'll explore the language of color & learn how to unlock the so called "secrets" of color theory. Kelly will make it easy & fun while you learn how to mix color using acrylic paints. You'll gather new tips, tricks & techniques to make colors pop & sing in your artwork. You'll realize you don't need every tube of paint out there, that by using a few select colors, you can mix & make your own. You'll learn to layer colors & how to avoid (& fix) "mud". This is not a "project" class: you won't be walking out with a "finished" piece but instead leaving with a wealth of information & knowledge on color theory (& a special sample book which YOU will make). You'll also be able to take the ideas out of class & utilize them in your own artwork, no matter what you create. This is a brand NEW class; one that Kelly's students have been requesting for a very long time, so join Kelly in her new multimedia workshop in which you will be exploring the use of color on you & your art. Now she is back again, having hopped down the bunny trail & finding Easter Eggs ready for decoration. You'll get to use those great LuminArte Primary Elements in your creations that make every-bunny jealous! Bollios with Mike: Wednesday, March 29, 11:00 AM
- 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. It's time to break out the JudiKin's
Bollios again for this class using the versatile four-sided stamps in a fresh &
fun way. (If you aren't familiar with what a Bollio is, they are 4-sided stamps
that look like a squared off rolling pin!) Mike will guide you in making a suite
of simple & stylish cards in a variety of silhouettes.
