Father's Day!! Cost $18.00 * >>> Simply Fun! with Ginny: Saturday, May 6, 10:00 AM - Noon. This is going to be a fun little time! You'll get to use those small, whimsical stamps from the Simply Stamped Stamp Company & do some fun embellishments with the company's "Elements" - a tiny little polymer clay figure that attaches to your art work. And, as if you needed to ask, THE ART LOUNGE will be open. See a Sample Here! Cost $18.00* Wonderful World of Color Theory Made Easy with Kelly Kilmer: Sunday, May 7, Noon - 4:00 PM. In this workshop, we will explore the language of color & learn how to unlock the so called "secrets" of color theory. Kelly will make it easy & fun while learning how to mix color using acrylic paints. Learn new tips, tricks & techniques to make your colors pop & sing in your artwork. You'll realize you don't need every tube of paint out there, that by using a few select colors, you can mix & make your own. Learn how to layer colors & how to avoid (& fix) "mud". This is not a "project" class, as you will not be walking out with anything completely finished. Bring your journal (if desired) to use up an excess paint & to "experiment". You will have the knowledge & a special sample book that you will make to take ideas out of class & utilize them in your own artwork no matter what you create. This is a brand NEW class & one that my students have been requesting for a very long time. Please join me in this new multimedia workshop in which you will be exploring the use of color on you & your art. (Thanks to A.G.) Stencils seem to be the mysterious part of card-making. How do you get those cool raised images? In this class, by joining Kathy, you will not only use the stylus for your dry embossing but you will also use inks & pastes. Come & learn the in's & outs of brass stenciling. perfectly centered, well balanced approach to design. During this class you'll
be exploring the asymmetrical (thank you Katie). Come along as you make 5 fun &
funky cards you'll be proud to display or give away. Cost $18.00* >>> Monday Morning With Mike: A Little Off Kilter (5/13) -- Or - StampScapes Vignettes (5/29) class description & fees are listed in order by the Saturday class dates. Fantastic "Shipwreck" Hatbands and Necklaces with syndee holt: Wednesday, May 17, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. Got cool fibers you've been saving for a special project? syndee will show you how to decoupage on polymer clay to create some fantastic beads to string on your cool fibers. Add some faux stones made of Sculpey and you have a fantastic hat band or necklace. Bring any yard long fibers you have and any treasures you wish to tie onto the band. If you have translucent polymer clay and/or Piñata inks, please bring them. syndee will supply the rest! See a Sample Here! Appeals! with Ginny: Wednesday, May 24, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
and Saturday, May 27, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. OK, so stickers aren't normally
her thing, but in this great class Ginny will have you playing with some
beautiful ones. You'll be making some fast, easy, classy, & appealing cards
centered on Stampendous' Class Appeals. A little twist from the norm, so come

We also would like to wish Joe Yates good luck & God's Blessings in his new endeavor in the United States Army Airborne. Both valuable employees & good friends, they will be sorely missed & their abilities in the store hard to replace. We hope you were able to see them before they left. You all meant a lot to them. We will keep you posted on their new lives as we hear from them. Stamp Clubs: We have several here at the store. There are spaces available in some & possibilities for starting others.
