THE STAMP ADDICT'S 8TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION This day long celebration will include 5 special events, a few munchies, a special drawing & A GREAT SALE!!!!!!!!! All store regularly priced items will be 15% off for the day. Selected items will carry additional discounts from 20% to 50% off! (Discounts, of course, are not combinable.) Throughout the day, be sure to purchase $2.00 raffle tickets. Proceeds of the drawing will go to the San Diego Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. The winner will receive one of those great, beautiful Limited Edition stamps of the Big Cats from the Coronado Island Designs & Stamps Company. The drawing will be at 4:00 pm on the 5th & the winner must be present to win. Following is a listing of events as they are planned (as of August 3rd) Times could vary due to the activity. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT AT A MAKE IT & TAKE IT, OTHERS MAY WISH TO MAKE & TAKE AS WELL, SO PLEASE DO YOUR PROJECT & THEN MOVE AWAY SO THAT OTHERS MAY ALSO PLAY! 9:30 - 10:30 AM: Mike Strong: Mike will demonstrate how to make a Fan Fold ATC Wallet. It's a neat little wallet that at 3-1/2 x 2-1/2 will hold up to 16 ATCs. Mike assures us it's easy to make & fun to decorate. Don't miss it! 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Lisa: If you haven't already met our newest employee, be sure to do so as she spends some quality time showing you the fine art of Bloomers® from Coronado Island. Lisa has become our new resident expert on these 3-D embellishments & wants to help you perfect your talents with these great & fun flowers! 10:30 AM -12 NOON: Kathy Olsen: Kathy has always had a penchant for embellishing everything that stays down long enough! She'll show you how to make tags with all sorts of stamps, embellishments, glitter glue, marking pen, etc. This will be a way to get use from all the "stuff" you've saved forever! 12 NOON - 1:30 PM: syndee holt: syndee is a fan of playing & she has a new bag of toys: Castaway pads, Pearl-Ex stamp pads, Ultra Light stamping, Piñata painting, etc. Her concoctions are always fun to watch, involve yourself in & just be amazed at! Get new ideas from new toys! 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM: David Knefler: David's project is stamp carving, making your own stamps with your own flair! He'll be using the great Staedtler carving tools & promises & make & take. We get lots of requests on the ins & outs of carving, so this is to answer all your questions! 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM: Ginny: You'll finish up your day with this quick little demo on how easy & fun the buckets from Stampendous are to decorate & give a gift with in a gift. You'll see how stickers, Class-A-Peels, Staz-on & glaze pens work together in a fun, inexpensive little project.
