StampScapes with Kathy Olsen: Saturday, October 7, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Kathy is very much the StampScape queen. She has the talent that comes from many discussions & time spent with the artist Kevin Nakagawa. She has also perfected the craft of Stampboards. Come & learn the different applications of how these great scenes are put together, both on paper & on the Stampboard. Golden Coils with syndee holt: Saturday, October 14, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. syndee returns to the beautiful clay workings that she is so well known for. Join in this Saturday class to make gorgeous coils that would make Midas green with envy! Your coils can be used to embellish your stamped art cards or to enhance or make jewelry. Happy Holidays Folio: Hero Arts Studio Workshop with Ginny: Sunday, October 15, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM and Wednesday, October 18, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. Come stamp with Hero Arts & your friends! You've been waiting for this: a Hero Arts Workshop & Holiday cards! In this workshop you'll create a merry & bright holiday keepsake photo folio, using Hero Arts stamps, inks, & stamping papers. The Fall & Winter Holiday Season with Kathy: Saturday, October 21, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. It's that time of the year that comes very quickly & without warning each year: the back-to-back-to-back holidays from the end of October to the end of December. Come & create some great cards for Thanksgiving, & the winter holidays. As always, in Kathy's classes, you'll come away with cards galore & not be caught short when the unexpected pops up! Eraser Carving with David Knefler: Saturday, October 28, 10:00 AM - Noon. David is a great friend to The Stamp Addict & after the quick demo / make & take at the birthday party, there was a request for MORE! David has graciously agreed to come back & teach the fine art of stamp carving: making your own stamps with your own flair! You use the great Staedtler carving tools & their great carve like butter erasers! Join in the fun as you heighten you stamping ability! PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN CARVING TOOLS IF YOU HAVE THEM. Cost $20.00 *

Dynamic Dominoes with Diane Chen: Saturday, October 28, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. The subject of dominoes is a popular one starting with: how do you do them? Diane is the best one we, at The Stamp Addict, can think of to show off the beauty of these tiles. You'll be painting, stamping & coloring on the dominoes & making them into fridge magnets or pins. These classy items make great gifts for exchanges & stocking stuffers. After this class: no more guessing! PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN GEL, GLAZE, MARVEY OR TOMBOW PENS, & CHALKS IF YOU HAVE THEM. Trick Or Treat For A Little Stamp!!!! From the 29th to the 31st, The Stamp Addict will continue it's tradition of Trick or Treat for a small stamp to those small, "scary", stampers under 10 years old, dressed up in their Halloween finery. (Parents: this is a treat that is safe & doesn't cause cavities or "sugar highs") Also, to make sure that all adult stampers are off the roads & home with their "kid-lets", on Halloween: TUESDAY the 31st, WE WILL CLOSE AT 4:00 PM!

* ALL SUPPLIES ARE INCLUDED IN CLASS FEES: however, please bring colored pencils & a pair of scissors to class, if you have them. Any additional supplies needed are listed with the class description.

Except as noted, the store hours are: M, T, Th, F: 10 am - 6:00 pm, W 10 am - 7 pm, Sa 9 am - 5 pm, Su NOON - 4 pm. We are open until 8 PM during Wednesday evening classes.

A note from the store owners: As some of you are aware: either by guessing, rumor mill, or internet chat rooms, The Stamp Addict is going through some significant changes. Due to health concerns the current owners are stepping down from that role & giving their "baby" a new parent. Jennifer Zuorro will be taking ownership this month. THE STORE AS IT IS WILL NOT BE CHANGING!!!!! You'll still have Rick & Ginny to harass & bother & the teachers & staff are still going to be here. The stamp clubs will not become homeless on the boulevard! We have told Jennifer that The Stamp Addict has the world's best customers & we mean that & know that you'll show her the same love you've always shown us.
During the month of October, through November 10th, all sales over 25.00 will earn a raffle ticket (purchases of gift certificates & classes don't count) for special drawings on November 11th. (Winners need not be present to win, but why wouldn't you want to be?) That's the day you'll all officially meet Jennifer.
